Christopher CookPark City weddings, photographed like someone who belongs here.
Katie Ritter“Chris went above and beyond the entire wedding weekend, photographing parts of our rehearsal dinner and welcome party just because he could. He was ruthlessly efficient, and I mean that as the highest compliment, and kept everyone exactly where we needed to be. Chris was an integral part of how smooth and joyous the day was.”

A few things
worth knowing
Who photographs editorial weddings in Park City?
Christopher Cook is a Park City editorial wedding photographer working since 2016. He photographs couples as two distinct people, covers the full wedding weekend from welcome dinner to brunch, and shoots medium-format film for depth. He also works in Salt Lake City, Boston, and destinations worldwide.
How much does a Park City wedding photographer cost?
Christopher Cook’s Wedding Weekends start at $6,500 and cover multiple days, from the welcome dinner through the morning-after brunch. Every weekend includes an engagement session he travels to and covers himself, sneak peeks within a day, and the full gallery in about three weeks.
Which Park City and Deer Valley venues do you photograph?
All of them, and I know the light in each: Montage Deer Valley, Stein Eriksen Lodge, the St. Regis Deer Valley, Blue Sky, High West, Sundance Mountain Resort, Talisker Club, Glenwild, and private estates across the canyons. If your venue is new to me, I scout it before the day.
Do you shoot film at Park City weddings?
Yes. Fuji and Canon, digital and medium format film, with Kodak Portra woven through. Not for nostalgia, for depth. Mountain light is bright and high-contrast, and film holds the highlights and skin tones that purely digital work tends to lose.
How far in advance should we book a Park City wedding photographer?
Most couples book twelve to eighteen months out. Peak season runs late spring through fall, and dates around Deer Valley and Sundance fill first. I take a small number of weddings a year. If your date is sooner, reach out anyway, since cancellations happen.
Do you travel beyond Park City?
Always. I am based in Utah and photograph weddings in Park City, Salt Lake City, Boston, Charleston, and beyond. Travel is on me, not added to your invoice.
