Who photographs editorial weddings in Park City?

Christopher Cook is an editorial Park City wedding photographer working since 2016. He photographs both of you as two distinct people, covers the full wedding weekend from welcome dinner to morning brunch, and shoots a medium-format film and digital hybrid for depth. He also works in Salt Lake City, Boston, Charleston, and destinations worldwide.

How much does a Park City wedding photographer cost?

Wedding Weekends start at $6,500, and pricing depends on how many days are photographed and where the weekend is. Every collection includes an engagement session he travels to and covers himself, a private online gallery, print-licensed files, and a medium-format film component. Destination travel is quoted per wedding, never added to your invoice.

What style of wedding photography does Christopher Cook shoot?

Editorial, with documentary instinct. Fuji and Canon, digital and medium-format film, with Kodak Portra woven through. Not for nostalgia, for depth. Soft contrast, true to color, built to still feel right in ten years.

How far in advance should we book a Utah wedding photographer?

Most couples book twelve to eighteen months out. Peak Utah season runs June through October, and dates around Deer Valley and Sundance fill first. Christopher takes a small number of weddings each year, so earlier is safer. If your date is sooner, reach out anyway, since cancellations happen.

Do you shoot film at weddings?

Yes. Fuji and Canon, digital and medium-format film, with Kodak Portra woven through. Mountain light is bright and high-contrast, and film holds the highlights and skin tones that purely digital work tends to lose.

Does Christopher Cook travel for destination weddings?

Always. Based in Utah, he photographs weddings in New England, Charleston, Italy, France, the U.K., and wherever you are marrying. Travel is quoted per wedding and folded into your weekend, not bolted on afterward.

Do you offer albums and prints?

Yes. Heirloom albums are hand-bound and archival, sequenced as one continuous read, from $1,200. Fine art prints are made on museum-grade paper, sized for the wall, from $350. Both are curated alongside you, so the book and the frames hold the same arc the gallery does.

What will it actually feel like to work together?

Calm, prepared, and decisive. Chris directs when direction helps and reads the room when it doesn’t. Couples consistently describe feeling like both of them were listened to from the first conversation. By the wedding morning, he is not a vendor you hired. He is someone who already knows you.

What does the process look like, beginning to end?

A real first conversation. An engagement session he comes to and pays for. A planning session several weeks before the wedding to map the weekend as one visual arc. On the day, steady and prepared. Sneak peeks within twenty-four hours. The full gallery in roughly three weeks, including delivery to your planner.

Will our planner enjoy working with Chris?

He works the team. He asks your planner what they are most proud of and makes sure it gets photographed, pivots when the day pivots, and shares the final gallery with them too. A good day for your planner is a good day for everyone.

How many photos do we get?

The best, not the most. Enough to hold the whole weekend, curated hard enough that you will actually look at all of them.

Do you work from a shot list?

Chris works from attention. Tell him the things that matter and he will get them, along with the things you didn’t think to ask for.
